Our Ideology
THE GREAT BANYAN TREE is over 250 years old and covers about 14,500 square meters of land (3.5 acres) in the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Botanical Garden near Kolkata, making it the widest tree in the world. A banyan tree represents eternal life because of its ever-expanding branches. The branches root themselves like new trees and then give rise to more trunks & branches. Because of this characteristic and it's longevity, a banyan tree is considered immortal and is an integral part of the myths and legends in India. It is a botanical representation of the values, ethics, integrity & belief system of The Fintellect.
